"The process of making the paintings in Flux requires a kind of dance. A series of extensions, bends, twists and delicate steps as I transition across the canvas that is laden on the floor. My arms, legs, torso and hands all co-ordinate to glide large brushes across the surface. I pre-empt my moves as I have practiced over and over prior to this performance. These paintings hold the tension and the balance and the lightness of movement."
