Daniel Bushaway’s second solo exhibition at Boom, Summit explores his fascination with industry and infrastructure in the natural landscape through the medium of photography – using a large format view camera. During the warmer months, Daniel ventured to Victorian alpine ski resorts to investigate the networks of ski-lifts that help move the masses during winter. These ski lifts are part of a bigger investigation for the artist, who is interested in the way we cultivate and manipulate the landscape for pleasure and progress.
Daniel studied Graphic Design and graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in London with an Honours and currently works as a full time Design Director in Melbourne.
