ARTIST STATEMENT
"This painting is titled; 'AD INFINITUM'. It features the central facing set of three point portals. The work delving into the idea of the eternal, the forever. The portals representing this. In context, the Latin phrase Ad Infinitum usually means 'continue forever, without limit' and this can be used to describe a non-terminating process, a non-terminating repeating process, or a set of instructions to be repeated "forever," among other uses."

BIO
Jasmine is a professional practicing multidisciplinary artist whose work is best described as the meeting of exploration and refinement.

Jasmine lived in a remote area of the Northern Territory for the largest part of her early life, leaving to live in NSW at age twenty six. It was in the Northern Territory that she pursued a self guided and insular practice which underpins the unique expression and approach to her work that can be seen today.

Jasmine has taken her art to a number of mediums – sculpture, large-scale public artworks, intimate paintings for private collection and digital and film work. She is not afraid to venture outside an established comfort zone. To date Jasmine has had twenty solo shows, exhibiting in Australia and overseas  with several more exhibitions planned for 2023 and onwards. In her most recent two solo exhibitions Jasmine exhibited a sculptural work alongside paintings. She continues to explore ways to extend the narrative and immersive aspect of her practice.
