Steel & Wood knives by Jay Reilly are made entirely out of up cycled materials that would otherwise go to landfill. Spent chainsaw chains, steel cable, railway spikes are all brought up to high heat in his forge, then hammered and hand shaped into blades. Handles can be anything from railway sleeper, copper waterpipe, or reclaimed red gum destined for firewood.
